Disabling Dell Precision 5520 touchpad

This is such a basic Windows 101 trick, I'm embarrassed to actually share it, but it it provided a huge quality-of-life improvement, I'll just make a quick note of it.  I've been seriously annoyed by my Disabling Dell Precision 5520 touchpad during my day to day work.  In Visual Studio, one accidental brush has deleted whole directories of, un-docked my VS panes, etc.  When I think of it, I disable the touchpad.  Then, when I take the laptop to a meeting and leave the mouse behind, I have to navigate to the touchpad controls via the keyboard.  I think, there has to be a shortcut key to disable/enable the touchpad.

Wow, do I feel dumb when it turns out there's a setting for exactly what I want right on the touchpad control app.

It's right there, Leave touchpad on when a mouse is connected

Sometimes life can be improved by just a tad by stopping and looking around.
